Palisander receives grant from Arts Council England

Palisander is excited to announce that its application for a grant from Arts Council England has been successful, enabling the group to tour the new show Dr Dee's Daughter and the Philosopher's Stone, in collaboration with theatre and puppetry company, Rust and Stardust. Venues include Newbury Spring Festival, Brighton Early Music Festival, Beverley Early Music Festival and The Stables, Milton Keynes.
Palisander selected for St John's Smith Square Young Artists' Scheme

Palisander is thrilled to have been selected for the prestigious St John's Smith Square Young Artists' Scheme. As well as performances at the venue, the quartet will receive professional development training and grants towards a new commission and a marketing project.

'Setting the tone for one very sophisticated party' - Palisander perform at London Fashion Week

Palisander was joined by cellist, Kate Conway, for a performance at 'one of the most anticipated events' of London Fashion Week. The Green Carpet Collection showcased 12 outfits by designer Erdem, produced using reused, surplus or sustainable materials. Guests included Colin Firth and Ellie Goulding.
Lydia selected for theatre music course at the Globe Theatre

Lydia has been selected to attend a theatre music course at the Globe Theatre this autumn, which will culminate in performances at The Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and at the Globe Theatre.
Palisander selected for Brighton Early Music Festival's 'Early Music Live!' scheme

Delighted to announce that Lydia's quartet, Palisander, have been selected for Brighton Early Music Festival's 'Early Music Live!' scheme, an apprentiship and training scheme for young early music ensembles. As well as performing at the Festival in October, the quartet will give educational performances and workshops in Brighton.

Lydia has been selected to perform in the 'Showcase Kaleidoscope II' concert, as part of the Open Recorder Days Amsterdam festival, in May 2015. She will perform with other young recorder soloists, from across Europe, in the Bernard Haitinkzaal.
